Overnight Cinnamon Oats

Ingredients


  • 1 cup, (250 mL) Greek Gods Honey Vanilla or Traditional Plain Yogurt ingredient arrow
  • 2 cups, (500 mL) almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon, (15 mL) vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup, (60 mL) honey
  • ½ teaspoon, (3 mL) salt
  • 1 teaspoon, (5 mL) cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups, (375 mL) rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons, (30 mL) chia seeds
  • 1 cup, (250 mL) golden raisins soaked in warm water for 15 minutes & drained, optional
  • blueberries & raspberries, optional

Instructions


  1. In a large bowl combine the Greek Gods Honey Vanilla or Traditional Plain Yogurt, almond milk, vanilla, honey, salt, cinnamon, chia seeds and raisins, if using.
  2. Add in the rolled oats.
  3. Using a rubber spatula, stir until they are well coated.
  4. For the next fifteen minutes, stir every five minutes.
  5. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl, as needed.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Transfer to small serving bowls. Serve with fresh berries and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.
